Greetings! My name is Shelli Hudson English, but usually simply sign my initials, so many now know me as just SHE.
I was lead to my personal spiritual awakening in this lifetime in 1974, and though I was young, was accepted into a group - yet only stayed for a short time, just slightly longer than my "year and a day", as the circumstances and I did not meld well. However, looking back, I can now see the others as likewise young and fairly naive, much as I was, and feel better about the experience. Events are often viewed so very differently through the filters of age and the benefit of additional experience!
In late 1975 I began what has turned into a lifelong and wonder-filled quest of discovery for the essence of the Divine. And although my path has been mainly of a solitary nature, over the years I have made many friends, shared many rituals, had both raucous debates and riotous laughter; have heard master storytellers and guardians of oral histories, have even managed to tell a tale or two myself on occasion, as well as share whatever wisdom I may have to give.
In early 1982, I became an ULC ordained minister in order to be able to perform rites of passage and provide other clerical services. I have had the honor and privilege of participating in some of life's most precious and poignant moments with people, and have many treasured memories - plus a lot of great stories!
In brief, and skipping over a couple of decades, I am simply an eclectic, Goddess-loving, folk witch and if you have questions, or feel the need to get in touch, you are welcome to do so. Of course, I could - and keep saying I someday will - write my entire autobiography, but think it best to leave you here, dear reader, with a little left to mystery...
