Dislikes: Narrow-mindedness. Bigotry. Hypocricy. All forms of dishonesty. Manipulation by anyone (especially teachers.) Power trips. Use of the Craft as an excuse to indulge in sex, drugs, and alcohol, rather than just being a proud hedonist. 'Fair-weather' clergy and teachers. The "You aren't Wiccan if you aren't initiated in Our tradition" attitude. The "Wicca is not a religion for the young" attitude.
Blue Amber's Profile...
My name is Elizabeth. I have been labeling myself pagan since 1991, but as with most of us, I've been practicing paganism in many forms since I was a small child.
I primarily practice core shamanism. Communion with the seasons and hours of the day, the river and wild areas near home, and both wild and domestic animals are an important part of my spiritual life. The eight neo-Pagan holidays are celebrated in my home.
I enjoy both yoga and tai chi. I LOVE tea and tisanes; they heal the soul. Nothing beats sailing to center me; just the wind and the water, the forces of nature, they remind me of my place in the universe.
I am on the board of Sierra Madrone Grove, ADF in Sacramento, California; a chapter of Ár nDraíocht Féin, a Druid Fellowship. I am also currently working on the ADF Dedicant Program. I am a firm believer in the need for a public pagan tradition, and ADF is filling that need for people. I am very excited about what ADF is accomplishing, and I am proud to be a part of it.
I also attend various community rituals in the Sacramento, California area, and I very much appreciate the wonderful pagan people I am so blessed to know.
