Likes: There are almost too many things to list. I like fresh air, trees, birds, the smell of fresh cut grass, waterfalls, sunshine and rain. I like the sound of thunder, but also children laughing. I love playing with clouds. I enjoy boats and bikes. I love gardening, and cooking from that garden. I enjoy a relaxing, quiet night with a good book and I love to write, poetry mostly. I enjoy a nice glass of wine, or a beer on a hot day. I like pears, strawberries, and cherry tomatoes, not all together though. But, my most important likes are my friends.
Dislikes: Being cooped up indoors, and the ever so disappointing closed mind. And I don't care for beets, candy or cake.

Well I have been on this site for a little over a year now and I have yet to give a proper profile. This is harder than I thought, so bare with me. If I rattle on and on, well that’s something you just learned about me, I tend to do that from time to time.
I’ve been called a flower child more than I can count. And yes, I’m too young to be one of the originals. I live in peace and harmony with the world and do everything in my power to protect it. A child of Mother Nature, sounds nice don’t you think? To my shame I have not always been this way, but I don’t look back at my mistakes anymore and I try not to look to far ahead. I live for today. Things change, I change and I learn valuable lessons from them.
I have been told that I am very complimentary, sometimes too much in their eyes. But I’m a true believer in giving just rewards and praising good deeds. That’s the easiest thing to do, as long as it is truly sincere. And who among us, deep down inside, does not like them? I appreciate everyone who feels secure enough to share their talents or even their thoughts. And for the people who do not share them, well, I hope you do soon. You are amazing and you don’t even know it yet.
I have reached out to quite a few of you on this very site. And I have met some lifelong friends. There is a lot of talent here, and I’m not afraid to tell you so. Some say thank you and others keep to themselves. That’s okay, it’s not going deter me from telling you how much I enjoyed something that you wrote and shared. So once again, my compliments to you all, you make my day a little bit brighter.
Did I just rattle? Back to the profile. I dabble in poetry. It’s a pretty new hobby, but I’m loving it more and more. I’ve been told I have a style, but I really don’t know what that is. Simple would be a good word I think. I write about my life, my dreams, my secrets, oooops, no longer secrets if you’ve read any of them, now are they? I have fun with it and I shed a tear or two with it.
Now I won’t try to explain my path, religion, faith, or beliefs, I have them don’t get me wrong, I’m still learning that’s all. I’ve only just begun. I’m a nature lover, a people lover, an animal lover, and I respect those who aren’t. We are given choices, unlimited amount of choices, and to each his own. These are simply mine and I’m very grateful to have them.
I’m an avid gardener of every sort. If my hands are in the soil, I’m a very happy person. If there is a seed, I’ll tend to it, and care for it as if my life depended on it. And who knows, maybe one day it will. But that’s a whole other story. I’m also a bird watcher. No, not to the point that I know all their names and calls, but I’m getting there. They are very intelligent creatures, not to mention, they fly. Something we humans only contemplate in our dreams.
Wow, are you still here? Told ya, I can rattle! Well, I look forward to hearing from you and if you are posting poetry, I’m sure you’ve heard from me. And I can only hope I delivered a smile upon your lips. There is so much more, but at least you get an idea of who I am. I don’t bite, not hard anyway. This wasn’t as difficult as I thought.
