Well, born and raised in Austin, TX, I enlisted into the United States Air Force five years ago, now serving my second term. Stationed in Vandenberg AFB, CA, I was originally stationed in Malmstrom AFB, MT. The climate change has been, suffice to say, welcoming. I was introduced to the older religions, spiritual paths and techniques by a group of friends two years ago, give or take. Coming from a more scientific and analytic thought process, I've hit numerous walls with spirituality as a whole, mostly when it came to ideas of the divine, both on a monotheistic and polytheistic caliber. I've tried to "recaliberate" those reservations to continue my studies. I started with Nordic Paganism and have since started looking into Druidic and various Shamanistic paths. I'm still exceedingly new to the field, in many areas. By the recommendation of a friend, I came here in search of more resources and hopefully contacts near my area that can help, as I am still new to California, I currently know no one of such paths or teachings. Looking forward to discussion, thoughts and interaction. Cheers, folks.
