I am not a member of any specific tradition, but I practice witchraft that is inspired by Celtic, Nordic, and sometimes Italian (Stregherian) traditions. Certainly other influences come in from time to time, but my craft is predominantly influenced by European traditions. If all gods are one, or at least if the gods all come from the same divine source, then no path is wrong.
I am a military pagan. I'm very proud of both of these lifestyles, both separately and intertwined as they are. There are, of course, significant challenges to being a pagan in the military, both in terms of acceptance and in practicability. I'm always anxious to hear how other military pagans handle these challenges and continue to practice and maintain their faith, as well as offer my own thoughts and advice to those who seek it. As a pagan who walks the warrior path, my matron is the Morrighan. I work very closely with her, even as I serve Diana and the horned god.
I take my military career seriously. Very seriously. I try to maintain a high standard for myself and those around me. My hope is that I leave a trail of better sailors in my wake. I'm proud of what I do, and I want my shipmates to be able to be proud of what they do, as well.
