I worked with the Colorado State Dept. of Corrections as both an "authority" on Wicca and as a group volunteer at the Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility for 8 years. My work was sponsored by the Earth Spirit Pagans based in Colorado Springs.
Handfastings are perhaps my favorite function as a Craft Priest. Hern has always responded when I call upon the God. The Goddess I've worked with most has been Hecate, since I initially had issues of death and dying to work through. However Brigit touched my life in unexpected ways. My first training coven was loosely Gardnerian-based (Thank you Sara & John, & Dove) , and I've also experienced basic Feri training. (Thanks to the late Gabriel.)
Personally, I remain solitary-by-circumstance but ever watchful just in case that special she-Witch (whoever she may be) should wander this way.
Thanks to the internet, I have a few close cyber friends scattered around the world. I hope some day to travel to Moscow to hug one of the most special young women I've never met in person. ( Hi Chara! )
