I might be considered to be a modern primitive. I'm a huge fan of ancient human history, religions, indigenous societies, evolution and lately, memetics. A voracious reader, I've assimilated volumes of useful and useless data in my lifetime which I've used to formulate my worldview from which there may be no turning back.
I might also be considered a nature freak because I spend a good portion of my free time exploring wilderness. To me it is as natural and important to do this as to read about anything. To experience nature in real time is to know all there is to know. This is my own UPG (unverified personal gnosis) .
I hope the Pagan Community doesn't manifest itself into the Temples of Syrinx, if I may use the analogy. The chaotic, adventurous and wild nature of ritual in the pagan movement as it exists is just fine with me.
