Fort Carson Open Circle's Profile...
The Fort Carson Open Circle is an eclectic, earth based religious support group for the military service members , thier families, and supporters in or around the Fort Carson area.
We meet every Sunday from 13:00 (1pm) until 15:30 (3:30pm) at the Provider Chapel in the community room (On the corner of Barkeley and Evans) on Ft. Carson.
We welcome anyone of any faith or denomination, as we are an "open circle" sponsored by the local chaplains corps. and Sacred Well Congregation.
Our Goal is to give our nation's military members, service members families (dependents) and our veterans whose spiritual lives are enriched by the practice of Wicca or Paganism. Whether you are one who has walked your path for many years or you are just beginning to explore non traditional "church" you are very welcome among us. Spirituality comes from within, but no one should feel alone within themselves!
Our weekly meetings are usually a study group concerning: spiritual discussions, meditation in the pursuit of balance and centered-ness in our lives, divination, spell-work, many different spiritual traditions, upcoming events and rituals, practical application of natural magic, principles/ethics, and many others.
The F.C.O.C. does have members who facilitate the meetings and rituals, but we encourage everyone to take and active part in the group.
Our rituals are usually held at the Turkey Creek Ranch Recreational Area, 10 miles south of the FT Carson main gate. (details available upon attendance at a weekly meeting)
