I have been practicing the Craft since the mid-80's and have been an officer in the National Capital Lodge of the Theosophical Society since the late 90's, including multiple terms as President. I am currently studying shamanism with Caroline Kenner and have been initiated into a traditional Wiccan lineage, although my personal approach is much more ecclectic.. If I am not a reincarnated Hellene, I make no sense to myself.
I have a passion for Magickal theory and philosophy, as well as practice, and frequently teach related topics.
I serve on the board of the Sacred Space Conference, the premier annual esoteric conference catering to intermediate to advanced practitioners on the East Coast.
I have most of a doctorate in Religious Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara and have earned a doctorate in Education Studies from American University. I also have an MS in Library and Information Science from Simmons College in Boston.
I am a tenured library faculty member at American University. I am hoping to take the level of security that I have and use it in order to do research that will benefit the pagan/witchcraft/heathen community.
