Hello,
My given name is Geoffrey. My chosen name, the public one anyway, is Pax. it comes from Pax et Fort, peace and strength, which was my original witch name. Over the years my circle name has changed as I have, or as I have learned more about my true self. I'm kind of stuck with Pax cause that's the nick-name I've used over the years in my efforts at Pagan Community building in the Anchorage area, and now in my new home of Orlando, Florida.
I am active in the local Pagan Community, and the local Gay Community, and often see paralels between the growth and evolution of these two subcultures.
I am a Solitary Witch. My studies and practice of the faith have been mainly book based, with input from a few reliable mentors, and a few rather interesting learning experiences. I am equally influenced by the writings of the Farrar's, Doreen Valliente, Sybil Leek, Starhawk, Phylis Curott, Kerr Cuhulain, and others.
I tend to be panentheistic and polytheistic in my beliefs and am currently exploring newly established relationships with Hecate and Dionysus.
I waver in and out of being involved in community building work within the Pagan community. Currently (Feb. 2008) wavering back in...
