I grew up in Illinois in a simple average size city in a traditional environment of marriage , divorce and remarriage. The traditional religion didn't fit as much as it was forced . I found it easy to study any religion I could to the point of most main stream and then alternative less main stream that I later learn was once the way of this silly planet . Shamanic or Pagan began to feel like home and really fit the more I looked at it ... No Dogma ! Count me in ! This was looked at as being rebellious by my family for many years , yet this wasn't how I fealt about it .
I began to study the simple things like herbology , health and nutrition , in hopes of living a long life . I looked to the animal kingdom to animal spirit guides to heal my soul and learn what I needed to fill the void inside . The balance of body mind and spirit seemed to be the center of my desire in life . I was always looking for deeper meaning in this physical existence ... Who am I ? What am I ? Where did I come from ? Where am I going? What is my purpose? When I would look into my own eyes in the mirror I knew there was more than I could see on the surface . I continued to seek any healing modality and self help method I could find . Finally some friends told me I needed to study with the mystery school if I ever had a chance ! I asked where it was and they said it was a mystery , ok I got a good laugh over that !
A few years later I decided to move 1200 miles south to Florida to a warm climate being I never liked being cold or indoors much . Within he first year I found a groupe that lead me to the mystery school where I studied Kabbalah , elemental Magick , sacred geometries , then Reiki ... I became ordained through universal life being they are for all faiths , i then studied law of attraction . A few years later i was drawn to go further , to train to be able to share the healing I Experianced with others. There is nothing better than to find answers and I found them all around me and now I am able to share these tools with everyone ... The biggest key is to empower yourself to grow and stretch and reach for your truth .
