I was born in the UK and raised in America until I was 18 and went to University at Cambridge. I spent 7 years there earning two of three PhD's. I also taught at various times in both university and training school settings. I also have certifications from Novell, Microsoft and Cisco.
I did a lot of traveling. My interests are European football, history, archeology and comparative religions. I find any number of things interesting from hard sciences like physics to the subtleties of translating rune stones like the ones being discovered in Ohio and Connecticut at the moment.
I've seen much of the world including most of Western Europe, some of Eastern Europe, Japan and a small portion of China plus I've traveled the US somewhat, living in 8 states and touring 18 others. Basically OI've gone walk-about several times.
My religious views are somewhat unique due to exposure to numerous other cultures and beliefs. My political views are considered liberal although I have more in common with British politics than American.
I served as a congressional page as a boy and worked for a member of the House of Lords in the UK as an assistant in my youth. I have three advanced degrees: history, archeology, and theology.
