Dislikes: dishonest people, peas (yuck) , gossip, drama, liars, thieves, people who say the practice the Craft, yet everything that comes out of their mouths sounds like reruns of "Charmed"...lol

I live in Lewiston, Idaho with my husband and two children, ages 11 and 18. I have a total of 4 kids, but my older two are out of the house and on their own. They are 22 and 24 years old. I have a cat named Taz, who went missing in March of '08, and I just found him again (April '09) . He was an indoor kitty, and got out by accident. I think the stray cats chased him away from my house, and he couldn't find his way home, because I found him quite a ways from my house. The Goddess answered my prayers to see him safely home; She just answered my prayers in Her own time. I also have a kitten that I got in the beginning of August, 2000. Her name is Amber, is solid grey with a bobtail She was initially a feral kitten I had trapped; you would never know she was once a spitfire...lol.I guess one could call me a solitary eclectic Wiccan grey and green witch, with Celtic leanings, and a smattering of shamanism thrown on top for good measure. It is my personal belief that to effectively use magick with better results, one shouldn't use strictly "white" or "black" magick. It should be a blending of the two for proper balance, hence me calling myself a grey witch. There are shadows everywhere, whether in nature or in our hearts and souls, and one must face their "shadow self", and be comfortable with those shadows, to lead a more balanced life. I won't use hexes or spells to cause others harm, with one exception...when someone is trying to harm me or mine. Don't mess with Mama Bear...she is good at protecting her mate and cubs...lol. I believe that one must practice Craft in order to change from the inside out before using spells to help people (with their permission first) . It is important that one clears out their soul muck, is fairly grounded, and understands correspondences and why spells work, and understand the energy that exists, on a metaphysical level, in all things. Knowing how energy flows and how to focus, raise energy, send it out to the Universe/god/goddess. Knowing how to ground properly, whether after a spell/ritual, or to drain off excess or negative energy as needed. By using Craft to initially help yourself, you will gain practice and knowledge, and help your soul to grow. I use stones and herbs alot in my workings, and as I am a poet, I write many of my own spells. I enjoy making new friends that have similar interests and beliefs. I enjoy camping with my family in the mountains in summer, and then going berry picking in the fall. I collect stones and gems, and make my own healing bracelets to sell, although I tend to give away more than I actually sell...lol. I love to read, much to the exasperation of my husband, and can often be found curled up with a good book. I read mainly fantasy, and my current favorite author is Anne Bishop.
I finally was ably to fix my poetry, so now the whole poems show, instead of just pieces...lol. Feel free to go back and read them properly.
