Likes: I love to read, write, and always continue to learn - no matter how eclectic the subject, or how unusual the teacher! I am a big believer in vounteering and getting involved in a positive, constructive way in any community in which I live. I, like many active in reclaiming paths, am an outdoors lover. I am a die-hard camper, and I enjoy riding my horse, swimming, boating, kayaking - almost all water sports and activities. I also love to travel and see as much of the world as possible :)
Dislikes: I have very few dislikes, and almost all of them can be summed up in the concepts of intolerance, judmental attitudes, violence, and hatefulness/prejudice. My philosophy is live and let live, and I follow the Wiccan Rede - do what you will, but harm none - so most of my dislikes stem from violations of this!

I am currently a 31 yr. old witch following a Celtic Wiccan Path in a town in Central Illinois. I am a memeber of a local Reclaiming Coven, called Prairie Fire Coven, and I am one of the founders of the Many Paths CUUPs (Covenant of Unitarian-Universalist Pagans) group that has just celebrated it's 2nd Anniversary, as of Beltane 2008. We hold 8 public rituals each year, as well as host classes, workshops, and discussion groups throughout the year featuring local and nationally-known facilitators from the Pagan world.
I have settled down over the past two years into a solid relationship, and I am currently going back to school. In my sparetime, I spend time with my 3 dogs, Buddy (black lab) , Gabe (golden retriever) , and Minnie (belgian shepherd) , my 3 cats, George, Riley, and LuLu, and a big backyard pond full of fish, turtles, and frogs - I love my menagerie! I live in an old Victorian house that requires lots of upkeep, but is a wonderful sanctuary, with it's pond, wrap-around proches, and beautiful nooks & crannies - perfect for relaxing and letting my kitchen witch tendencies (herbs, candle-making, soap-making) out.
I also have found that my profession of being a social worker specializing in treating those with mental illness and/or substance abuse issues melds quite well into my religious path. It gives me the opportunity to heal, help, and give back to others, and I feel at peace and balanced in my life at the moment! Thank the Goddess, and Blessed Be!
