Dislikes: When people decide that we're not all the same, when we forget where we come from. Also, my hair that never does what I want it to, the distance between my home and my family, noticing a blemish right before I meet someone for the first time, and the fact that no matter how hard I wish for it my broom will never allow me to fly around my neighborhood.

I'm young. I'm pretty much married. My children are a dog that loves everyone and a cat that loves herself. I am a seeker that knows that there is so much more in life that I don't know, and that I will never learn everything. My beliefs are constantly evolving as I am constantly evolving. I like pizza and Mountain Dew, but they don't like me - or, more specifically, my waistline. I believe poetry is the heartsong of life. I find beauty absolutely everywhere and never meet a stranger. I'm honest and straightforward and will tell you if I don't believe you. I love the idea of the justice system, and I love working with kids.
