Merry Meet! I am Kristin, the President of P.E.A.C.E. which stands for Pagans Encouraging A Community Effort - an organization dedicated to promoting religious diversity, tolerance, and understanding in the world as well as strengthening the pagan community so that we can make our voice heard more clearly!
I work in Nursing, as I feel healing is my call in this world. My path is Heathen, and I feel Freyja is my patron goddess, though I relate to many more and I make offerings to all the Gods and Goddesses of my religion.
The organization is quite new, though the idea is not. In 2009 I tried to get a group registered as a student organization with UMSL called the Pagan Scholars' Association, however when I left UMSL that effort sadly did not continue in my absence. P.E.A.C.E. follows the same ideas and standards that the PSA did, only instead of registering with a university we are registering with the government as a Non-Profit organization. I have many plans for the organization, however I also plan to bend to the needs of the community that develops so I am excited to see where the group goes!
