My name is Bettina and I'm a native of Massachusetts. I began studying Paganism when I was about eleven and I began practicing when I was about thirteen. I am a Celtic Witch and am now the High Priestess of my Clan (or coven) . I recognize the Celtic pantheon but I take my traditions from all over the Pagan tree and practice a smattering of everything- although I'm very devoted to my Celtic heritage. I'm an Earthy person and I love camping and being outdoors, day or night, summer or winter, and I love nature and animals. Casting circles, working magick, and meditating are the best when done outside in the Elements (or by the roaring fireplace) . I have awesome friends and a wonderful husand who I have been practicing with and casting circles with for years. We grew up together and have grown magickally together as well, and we are happy and very successful in our magickal workings. Celebrating the Sabbats is the best when it's at our house and we have a lot of fun...
I want to meet other Pagans and learn about all the different traditions and paths and would love the chance to work with others informally. I am the founder and former president of the UMASS Dartmouth Pagan group PLACES: Pagan Living And Collaborative Education Society and have met really cool people in the group. I write my own rituals, spells, and prayers and have made my own tools and supplies. I love performing blessings and banishing rituals and helping others to learn how to meditate, ground, and relax...
My college major is English (writing/communication) and I minor in Religious Studies. I would love to work towards becoming a High Priestess or an ordained minister. I write stories and books as well as opinion essays and I hope to be published someday. I'm an amateur photographer and in my spare time I shoot informal photo spreads in a makeshift studio as well as taking nature shots. Being with my friends (and visiting my family) at home and at college is the best medicine and it makes me the happiest of all...
