Wog's Profile...
Have found I love teaching. Stumbled into a new business that is satisfying on many levels. Have not taken time to be alone in quite awhile. Need to do so soon. I feel out of balance when I can't get the time to myself.
I run a business, teach at a Community College and serve on the board of the country's oldest all volunteer crisis center and still have found no reason to own a cell phone. My students think I must be crazy. My daughter takes it with humor and even jokes about it on her face book page. I laugh to myself when friends tell me they don't know what is going on with their kids but they never sit done with them for dinner or if they do everyone is on their electronic heroin, texting someone else. We have no cell phones, sit down together for dinner nearly every night and actually have conversations about all sorts of things. (My 19 year old daughter is a really bright with fascinating views on a lot of subjects) . She does think I need a social life but what does she know! She is a college sophomore and has become even more interesting to talk with.
Balance is far more important than most realize.
