I have been interested in Wicca/Witchcraft/Paganism for about 8 years. Unfortunately for awhile I had to hide my beliefs because of disapproval from my family and other issues. During the past few years I have been trying to figure out where I am going on my spiritual journey, and have gained a lot of knowledge through studying, social networking, and also performing and experiencing rituals for myself.
I also, on occasion, like to network with people with similar beliefs, usually on Yahoo! Groups. Pagan Pride Days are also fun as well! I belong to a few Yahoo! Groups which mostly deal with Egyptian Paganism, and I enjoy hearing others opinions and insights on the Egyptian Mysteries and Heka (Egyptian Magick) . I do, however, prefer to practice as a Solitary. I have joined groups before and it just isn't right for me. It just seems too complicated to practice with others, and I am very protective of my beliefs.
I am deeply drawn to the Egyptian Tradition, so that is where most of my knowledge is. The Goddess Isis called to me years ago and I want to keep our connection strong. I am open to learning about and discussing different Pantheons and Traditions, but Ancient Egypt is where my heart is.
I enjoy working with crystals as well. I make wire wrap jewelry with some of my crystals so I can keep them with me. I make other jewelry as well, and I hope to be a vendor at an upcoming Pagan event next year! Most of my jewelry is made of semi-precious gemstones because I enjoy the connection with nature, and I know fellow Pagans do as well.
