I live in a land of color and snow. A place where the sun rises on Lake Michigan and sets behind tall maples, oaks and pine trees. It is a quiet place filled with people who don't quite understand my ways but a place I have learned to adore for the magic that is nature.
I am a freelance writer and spend most of my time creating (knitting, crocheting, writing, sewing, baking, etc.) . I love reading classical literature and comic books, learning self sufficient ways, being in nature, meeting new people and writing. I'm not much of a drinker, I don't smoke or use drugs.
What my path is called changes from person to person. Some call me a Natural Witch, a Wild Witch or simple a Pagan. I've never really been able pin down my 'label' or have seen a point in doing so. Nature is my church and I respect and honor the Old Ones of the land. I do not worship any deities but simply listen and communicate with those that are of nature. I practice mostly folk/low magic and would prefer to use rocks and sticks than I would crystals and gold. I am of the belief that nature is beautiful, terrible and wonderful and does not bend to our wishes. We are a part of it in living and dying.
I love learning. I love understanding different ways of thinking. Hey, I kind of love life too (even though sometimes it bites me.)
