I'm kind of a home grown witch, although I have practiced in a group and earned what I could in my degrees. I came to realize that I had to learn on my own, in my own way. The hardest lesson that I have ever had to learn in my pagan life is no one is wrong in how they believe, only the gods can tell you how to practice.
I started off (excuse me if I'm spelling it wrong) in Stregga, and then moved into the Egyptian whorship but there's only one thing that remains constant with me and that is I have always come back to being Druid and Irish, it does run deeply in the family as well as Gypsy, which is what I'm study now. I'm also learning the Irish pantheon and their culture beliefs as well as the gods, which I assure all, there are many.
I have had to learn not to be presumtious in my earned knowledge the past year and the hard ship of those who weild the craft onto their desires. So I apologize ahead of time I am skiddish, thankfully I have the gods that I worship protecting me and I am in their favor. I wish not to eleaborate on the harsh reality of betrayl, so please don't ask, it's a pain in my heart.
I'm a highly emotionaly sensitive person when it comes to everything around me. It's sort of comes from my foundation of experiences. But I love learning about other cultures and doing artwork, I still believe I can finish my fantasy novel (Some day!) , and I have a thing for planets, or plants have a thing for me. Has anyone every seen a three foot leafed Minerva leaf, (it's a type of bulb plant that comes out at christmas) ? Minerva is one of my goddesses also.
O, yes, uh I have a set idea that not all gods are one god or that you can call the goddess by any name. In my expierience it's always been goddesses, and gods, they each for me have their own voice and emotions and their energy is different. So if I spout off a name or just go with goddess please make me specify! I get ahead of myself.
I do practice with the psychic arts these days and divination. I can promise it's draining, I knew I was empathic from the time I was a little girl, but lately it seems as though my eye is going more outward and all about. An endeavor as they call it, although I'm not claiming it. I do love doing Tarot readings and getting more and more proficiant at it. Palm and aura reading are a little more difficult.
Spell and ritual work is a constant for me. I have a love for making oils and amulets, and all my tools, of course I end up giving them away. Writting rituals of old and placing it in my book of shadows has become one of my favorite obsessions, of course I'm always willing to share, and if I've gotten it from somewhere I want to make sure the origional authors name is present. I don't like thieving anything it deteriates my moral value, which most people find me snobby for it. But that doesn't matter a set of morals helps with wisdom, of course that a personal opinion. And of course studying herbs is also one of my favorite pass times what they are for, how they function magically.
So uh that's me, well the pagan side of me, and that's not all of it. I kind of don't like to bost anymore. It takes a lot to learn from a mistake.
