Babs's Profile...
I am a 4th generation farmers daughter of Northern Swedish/Finnish heritage. We practice a very simple country-style of heathen-paganism as I was raised to understand it.
I am blessed to be surrounded by natures bounty, enabling us to live in perfect harmony with the seasons as nature intended. We feed the family with fish from the river in summer, venison from the woods in fall, garden preserves in winter and all the fresh new sprouts in spring.
Since we are a work at home and home schooling family, my personal interests revolve around the home, ie; the kids and hubby, cooking, crafting, gardening, wild crafting, wild foraging, wild edibles, chickens, goats, farmin' type stuff, playing "mad scientist" in my kitchen, soaping and making items for my apothecary shop, natural healing and crafting natural remedies.
We have in the past hosted Midsommar and Mabon festivals here on our 30 acre homestead. Our farm was named "Witch Haven" during Mabon 2008 by some of the participants. I like it, so I'm keeping it.
I teach herbalism and crafting by appointment during the summer months.
