Both my grandmothers did odd little things that nobody else seemed to do, and talked to the world around them, trees, living creatures, wind and water, in a way that made me believe something was returning the conversation.
From a very early age I found my closest connections in the world around me. There was always a sense that there was something/someone out there who was interested in me. I can remember responding to this and trying to work with it as a very young child.
The connection of moon, trees, and water, goes especially deep.
I work with paint and thread, and also with my grandchildren!
My husband hears the Lady and sees nature spirits, but is not actually on a pagan path.
Both of us want to become more involved with nature now that he is retired and we have more time. After a long period in California we are returning to Minnesota (he was born there, but I am from the Great Lakes area.)
Both of us are interested in getting to know other pagans.
