Likes: Good conversation, good food, good books. I also do a lot of knitting and crocheting. Back in the late 70s I became interested in computers and have taken many courses in them, including web creation and most of the office programs. I spend a lot of time expanding my mind and answering questions that pop up via web browsing.
Dislikes: Arrogance; untruthfulness; people who act or speak without thinking about how their actions and words will hurt others; people who won't communicate how they really feel.

About three years ago I became interested in Wicca. I have read books, surfed for web sites and joined Magicka School and am taking a couple of their courses. But you can only do so much by yourself. I need to communicate with people and maybe attend some MeetUps to get a real feel for what I am studying.
I have been married for 38 years and had one son and adopted one daughter. Our son passed away in 2005 after a fall while hiking in the Mojave Desert. He left a wife (9 months pregnant with his son who is now 3) and a daughter, age 17 now.
Our daughter is married and has two daughters, ages 11 and 3.
My husband is retired military, so we have lived in several states (ND, NC, TX, CA, MO) as well as our native MN. We also spent four years in Europe, while he was stationed at Ramstein Germany. That was a wonderful time and we learned so much about the continent and did extensive traveling.
Both my husband and I are retired now, and I am at home most of the time with my hobbies. Hubby bowls during the fall and winter seasons and works two days a week at his niece's store.
