I'm a writer and blogger, with a small side business in perfume and ritual oil design. At the moment, I am in the final stages of the book Divorcing a Real Witch - and if you are divorced and neopagan, I welcome your input through an intensive survey! (You can skip any question you like!)
I've written for Llewellyn annuals since 1999 and I am a regular reviewer for Facing North. I have practiced Wicca and alongside it witchcraft for 16 years. I also write, on occasion, for PNC-Minnesota as well as for Pagan and non-Pagan publications that strike my fancy.
I also run the blog Fat Chic, which gets a lot more attention than my Pagan writing. Who knew people like not being naked?
I have scores of interests and a love of fun. I'll go dancing with you, but I likely won't drink; I'll kneel down with you to do those sidewalk drawings; I'll invite you over for tea and fingerpaint and I'll find a great indoor park if you want to go for a good long walk while it's snowing. I'll probably bow out of the roleplaying game (get bored, eat too many Doritos) and also skip anything involving Star Trek, but if you propose a Doctor Who or Daria marathon, I'm there.
I'm really interested in hoodoo, and in what certain CM rituals do. I'm extremely flexible in my approach to magic - my eclecticism is defined as "Do what ACTUALLY works, " and "Admit it when it doesn't." I like to try stuff. I also have tried enough stuff at this point to know what to skip. While other people notice my strength, I think my strongest trait is my curiosity.
