My family has been pagan for as long as I can remember. I was raised that way, for the most part. My family's pagan roots undoubtedly come from our ancestral homes, however, I am certain that the herbalism and other earth magicks that we practice now are steeped in our Appalachian roots. My family's background is mostly Irish and Cherokee, so I have learned much from everyone. My husband is an Air Force veteran and we have four wonderful children. My husband's beliefs are slightly different from my own but we are both pretty unconventional. We are rather quiet about our beliefs but treasure being able to meet those with open minds. I like feeling connected to a community whether it be online or in person. Once I count you as a friend you are as much a part of my family as blood or mariage relations.
