I've been a solitary practitioner since about 1999. Over the years I have participated with groups during the Sabbats and thoroughly enjoyed the experiences; however, ceremonies alone are where I am most comfortable and find the most enlightenment. Time is a premium for me. Without the peace I've discovered through Wicca, I don't think I could have remained centered, focused and sane!
My partner and I have been together since 1995. We are given the opportunity to live in our cats' home (since they rule the place) . These darlings are truly familiars for us in our quest for understanding the mysteries of the deities.
With growing disdain for wasting money, I sold my car and walk everywhere now. It takes longer to get where I'm going, but I feel so much better.
