I am a High Priest and Witch. I have been for many years. I have chosen in my life "to reverence the music and the drama and rituals of the Old Gods; to love nature and to fear it, and to rely on it and to appease it where necessary." I am also licensed by the New Hampshire Secretary of State to legally ordain marriages, handfastings, and other unions. Occasionally, I will speak at a school, library, or gatherings on request.
I used to be extremely active in a coven and teaching grove, although over the past several years I have become more and more solitary, almost hermetic. I left the fast track of public teaching and ritual to focus on personal spiritual growth. A small group of us still gather monthly on or around the Full Moon to celebrate and share knowledge. We even occasionally have a guest or two join us...we never turn away a legitimate seeker of the truth.
I still hold yearly Beltane and Samhain Circles for my immediate circle of family, covenmates, friends, and interested seekers. We gather to celebrate the old ways, roast a pig, drum, brag about things we have and haven't done, and remember if but for a brief moment to look up at the stars.
