Greetings and Merry Met,
My name is Timothy Gibbons, I am a writer and Wiccan Gnostic, essentially a witch who reads and studies the Bible. As this may seem a strange past time for someone who follows the earth based philosophy of Wicca, perhaps a brief glimpse of my spiritual journey is in order.
Basically I was born and raised a devout Protestant Christian. I was heavily involved in the ministry and was preaching the word from the pulpit and serving on missionary trips all before I turned 19 years old. My passions were studying the Ancient Greek and Hebrew from which the English Bible were translated and Apologetics, the art by which a believer debated Christianity with non-believers.
When I was 23, I was kicked out of my church for speaking out against the abuse of my father, a church elder, toward my mother. Following my expulsion I was befriended by a group of Sufi. While they knew I was a Christian they never once judged me, they simply saw a young man who needed some love and encouragement. Because of their kindness I began to overcome my church breed hostility towards paganism.
Eventually I found Wicca and it was an instant fit. For the last three years I have been nose deep in any and every book on pagan belief I could get my hand on. My most recent publication, 'Witches Revelation', is the result of those studies. While the book does not condemn any beliefs it does ask the question: What if the Book of Revelation isn't a Christian text, but a Pagan one. What if everything we know about the Biblical text is wrong?
