Moved to Albuquerque from Chicago in 1992
First entered the Mysteries in 1966 back when most accessible occult traditions were dark-side dirty grey paths at best and this was difficult for me so I became an activist for change. My first magical group was called the Raven's Claw Guild of Guardian Sorcery and had only five members - one for each of the elemental powers - and we behaved like self appointed commissioners reviewing the qualifications of those new groups emerging often disputing the claims of predators and stalkers using craft themes to seduce minors. Our actions were not violent but protected those who might otherwise have been victims.
I'm a proud veteran of military service in the United States Army 1972 to 1976 but was never deployed to Viet-Nam. My Favorite assignment was to B Batry 4/77 AFA, 101st Air Mobile Divi. as a 45M20 Aircraft Armament Subsystems Mechanic. I was the Aircraft Armament Section chief in this unit. Worked on twelve AH1G Cobra Attack Helicopters.
After That I returned to Chicago where I had to adjust to the rapid emergence of Witchcraft and Wicca as a formally established religious tradition and involved myself as much as possible despite being out of touch for four years.
I still believe that the greatest investment is your time and energy in the service of your community and sometimes that can be difficult but the return on that investment is priceless. I am looking for an elders circle that will not try to chew up every word I say and presume insult where none was intended. Please don't bother soliciting my submission to nonsense. I am a serious pagan and I am not a neo-anything! I just requested that my name be removed from the roster of the Forrest of the White Stag over this kind of presumption.
