I am a lover of the Goddess in all her forms, most especially however her darker aspects; Kali, Coatlicue, Isis Behind the Veil, Sekhmet, the Morrigan, the Cailleach. All her savage swift burning and scarring ferocity that wakes you up and when you embrace it becomes the purest love imaginable.
She is the hardest to handle, she bestows the greatest blessings, she lifts you from your knees and wraps you in the mantle of Sovereignty, she is the king maker, the Scatheach, the dark lover.... She is also the birther, and she will wrap you in your shroud when that day comes, then waken you upon the fields of that glorious Otherworld with her kiss.
She is epitomized in her servants the Maidens of the Wells, when awakened within her too often battered and raped and despoiled and enslaved and victimized Daughters, they are not only forever after free, but they carry the gift of perfect freedom to her Sons, awakening within them the gift of magical sensibilities/potentialities, knights to champion her.
I love strong women who stand free and create the world they desire. I love women who yearn to be strong and free. I love every woman I've ever met since meeting the one woman who freed me from my false conception of myself, my muse, my priestess, my mate, my Lady, my fae Queen, the White Hart of my heart, the soul of my soul. I searched for her in so many lives, I dreamed of her before I met her in this life, and when I found her the Joy of the Court was revealed, Goddess Bless! Kneeling at her feet I became a Champion of the Goddess of the Land, and Logres was reborn in my heart. The Bear stepped from my tracks, and I have been through the mirror and returned.
Besides all that....haha!... I am a 50 yr old Pagan Priest who is also an ordained Independent Catholic Priest, just like Marion Zimmer Bradley who wrote the "Mists of Avalon" . My wife is a Pagan Priestess who also holds an ordination as a Catholic Priest. We wear two hats which we endeavor to wield as one, but my primary vision and focus is as a Child of the Great Goddess, and ever will be, Blessed Be She!

I have been a 'Jack' of all trades, by temperament if not always by ability. Worked the oil patch as roustabout, roughneck, pipe inspector. I have worked in mines and assay offices and used dynamite. Stacked off the green chain in sawmills. I used to build log cabins with chainsaws and axes and chisels and planers. I have dug many ditches. Worked consruction as instrument fitter, pipelayer, welder. I have been a high school drop out, college student and an adult basic ed teacher. I worked in a bakery making pastries, bussed tables, washed dishes, bagged sawdust for kennels and bullsh*t for gardens.
I've picked apples with the migrants, hidden from the law, gotten drunk in low dives, and slept it off in the drunk tank. Ive lived in a cave and a tent and slept on fine silk sheets. I have been a prisoner and a free man.
I taught myself to flintknap years ago, the best way to learn anything. I write poetry when inspired. I carve and create wood furniture and altars and staffs. I make beautiful antler and obsidian athames, leather bags, stone and wood runes, bone and feather mojo's. I give some away as gifts, but several of my athames were bought by a Texas oilman as gifts for a Venezuelan billionaire, though he's probably only a millionaire now that Venezuela has nationalized the oil fields. Sometimes I swap art for materials. People tell me I dont value my work enough, I think I value it so much its hard to price....
