I'm working on a master's degree OU. It takes a lot of my time, but I would still like to connect with like-minded people in the area. Who might that entail? Fellow pagans, RPG gamers, rennies or SCAdians (I know, I've been out of the loop for far too long) , or various and assorted other imaginative "weirdos." (I say that fondly and include myself in that category.)
My formal training in British-Celtic Traditional Witchcraft (which is both more and less stuffy than it sounds) was many years ago. I do hold "advanced degrees in that field" but am not necessarily impressed with myself for having them. And truthfully, my communion with the world takes more of an animistic twist these days.
Pagan-ish topics of interest: folklore! runes, natural remedies, astrology, tarot, construction of ritual, pagan identity and the expression thereof (Did I mention I'm a sociologist?) , the Fae, totems, and where to find really good incense in this town (my fave source right now is a seasonal ren faire) . That's not all, but it should be good for a conversation starter.
