Pall Tryggr Ageirr's Profile...
These days I consider myself a general Pagan. I appreciate all forms of spirit. No matter the tradition. Though these days I am an arm-chair philosopher non-practicing pagan. I am more interrested in libertarian/fiscal conservative politics these days and championing the Constitution. (A midly conservative Pagan I know shocking.) This account was taken off for inactivity. Apparently you have to log in every so often.
I created a website and blog. http://thepaganheretic.webs.com and http://thepaganheretic.blogspot.com to archive some of my old writings off now defunct myspace and to act as a resource page. Though it hasnt been updated in hears so I cant vouch for the credibility of any resource links any longer.
I pretty much recovered this listing out of posterity. Maybe there are some in the local communites that still wish to get in touch with me. Cheers!
Leaving this here for historical reference:
Welp, my name is Paul..I'm a college freshman... I'm interested in the search for occultic knowledge and wisdom of the divine as well as seeking out studies of witchcraft as well as various other endevors.
I'm still seeking..trying to find my path....I'm a recovering christian...I still believe in Jesus Christ, the comforting holy spirit but I believe that the holy spirit contains feminine characteristics since it is a comforter...what do mothers do?? they comfort and take care of us. I also stll cling to certain Christian teachings and tenets. ...but I've never been happy with the mainstream church..and when I started learning about wicca, witchcraft, and general paganism..I've found myself to feel more comfortable...and some beliefs i've always held that is not reconigzed by the church..I have found are some of the main themes in Paganism.
I believe there is one divine energy and it's both feminine and masculine..I think nature is scared..and I do believe in magick. I'm trying to find a way to live by the teachings of christ and combine that with the Pagan path.
I'm also interested in gnosticism and, the jewish kabbalah. As far as Paganism, I'm interested in General Paganism and more specifically Wicca and its theology, beliefs, and practices, the Nordic traditions, Celtic Traditions, the Greek Pantheon, and Native American Spirituality/ Shamanism. I hope eventually I will be able to incorperate all that into my own spirituality.
.I guess If I had to label my spirituality I'm eclectic..and I guess Christo-Paganism/ witchcraft would be my core.
I try to study as much theology, philosophy, and mythology as possible.
I feel that all of these gods and goddesses and other divine figures; from various other traditions, paths, and sometimes other religions -- they can be individual but they are connected universally by some means as humans we are unable to grasp. They are indivudal yes, but also since they are also "Inter-connected" the phrase "All gods are ONE GOD" also seems to ring true.
I love incense! and trying to meditate. If anyone has any suggestions for me..or just want to talk then don't hesitate to contact me.
I am leaving the above text up there to save it for posterity. However, over the last few years I have honed my beliefs, and am able to sum it up and say that I am a "universalistic" God/Goddess Worshiping Eclectic NeoPagan with Gnostic Leanings.

May the Lord and Lady love you unconditionally and light your path.
May the Mother Holy Spirit comfort you and guide you and strengthen you.
And May Christs' teachings somehow inspire you to be a better person and to help you be able to inspire others and to help aid you in finding inner peace.
It is more useful to watch a man in times of peril, and in adversity to discern what kind of man he is; for then at last- words of truth are drawn from the depths of his heart - Lucretius (99-55 B.C.)
Do not do to others what angers you if done to you by others. - Socrates
Having the fewest wants, I am nearest to the gods - Socrates
A religious man is a person who holds God and man in one thought at one time, at all times, who suffers harm done to others, whose greatest passion is compassion, whose greatest strength is love and defiance of despair. - Abraham Joshua Heschel
Why not let people differ about their answers to the great mysteries of the Universe? Let each seek one's own way to the highest, to one's own sense of supreme loyalty in life, one's ideal of life. Let each philosophy, each world-view bring forth its truth and beauty to a larger perspective, that people may grow in vision, stature and dedication. - Algernon Black
The unique personality which is the real life in me, I can not gain unless I search for the real life, the spiritual quality, in others. I am myself spiritually dead unless I reach out to the fine quality dormant in others. For it is only with the god enthroned in the innermost shrine of the other, that the god hidden in me, will consent to appear. - Felix Adler
A friendly study of the world's religions is a sacred duty. --- Mahatma Gandhi
This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness. --- The Dalai Lama
And so we ask for peace for the gods of our fathers, for the gods of our native land. It is reasonable that whatever each of us worships is really to be considered one and the same. We gaze up at the same stars, the sky covers us all, the same universe compasses us. What does it matter what practical systems we adopt in our search for the truth. Not by one avenue only can we arrive at so tremendous a secret. --- Symmachus, Quintus Aurelius
"I can see no real reason why one cannot be a good enough though unorthodox Christian and a witch at the same time. It seems to me easier than being a Christian and a Communist." - Gerald Gardner 'Witchcraft Today' Page 121.
"The Christian who thinks reincarnation heresy, who will not countenance any form of superstition and belongs to the Sabbath Day Observance League, Would certainly not make a good witch. It is possible that the grandfathers of some of these people may have called their leader the Devil in the days when it was considered rather advanced to talk of the Devil. It may be argued that many witches confessed to signing pacts. Of course, they did, and so would I if I were tortured long enough. Recent experiments by the Nazis have proved that people can be made to say anything under torture. By confessing to dealing with the Devil they were quickly condemned." Gerald Gardner - 'Witchcraft Today' pages 121-122.

**Invocations of and to the Goddess and God: Compiled By: Scott Cunningham**
Evening Chant to the God:
Hail fair Sun,
Ruler of the day;
Rise on the morn
To light my way.
(To be said while watching the sunset)
Evening chant to the Goddess:
Hail fair Moon,
Ruler of night;
Guard me and mine
Until the light.
(To be said while Moon-gazing at night)
Invocation of the Elements:
Air, Fire, Water, Earth,
Elements of Astral birth,
I call you now; attend to me!
In the circle, rightly cast,
Safe from psychic curse or blast,
I call you now; attend to me!
From cave and desert, Sea and Hill,
By wand, blade, cup and pentacle,
I call you now; attend to me!
This is my will, so mote it be!*
*** This invocation may be chanted while moving or dancing around the altar to raise elemental energies for magickal workings.
Various sayings of the Christ:
From The Gnostic Gospel of Thomas: Yeshua Said: Recognize what is in front of you, and what is hidden from you will be revealed There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. (Matthew Ch. 5 -verse 6)
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew Ch. 5 Verses 7-10)
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. (Matthew Ch. 5 Verses 42-48)
Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye meet, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? (Matthew Ch. 7 Verses 1-3)
A Bible Quote that I just like;
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it. -- Hebrews 13:2
