I'm a Witch from the Eastern Shore of MD, and I recently just moved to Hamilton, OH. I started walking the path of Wiccan-based Witchcraft at the age of 11. I practice my path with an eclectic attitude, and so far, it was opened many doors for my mind, body, and spirit.
Around the age of 17 I branched off of a "structured" Pagan path and began walking one of my own. I'm still trying to find a way to sum it up, lol. I worship the Universe. Though I find myself asking for the aid of a particular Deity from time to time, I mainly work with the multi-faceted aspects of the God and Goddess. My practice heavily consists of the observance of The Wheel of the Year, the Elements, spiritual psychology and energy manipulation.
Even though I now have the tools of becoming apart of a local Coven, or simply even networking with other fellow Pagans/Witches/etc, I believe that walking as a Solitary for a few years is a great start. In these years, I've established a connection with Deity and my Higher Self, found my own inner strength that is still in bloom, tapped into many mysteries of the Universe, and am happy that I am walking this path.
I never knew that all my life I had been approaching it with a Pagan perspective. When I did finally stumble upon Paganism and Witchcraft, I knew right after obtaining information about it, that it was my true calling.
When they say that to be a Witch is to see the world in a totally different light... they're right.
