I'm a 43-y.o. gay male living in rural NorthCentral PA, Bradford, McKean County. My first book on Wicca was reading Laurie Cabot's, "The Power of the Witch" in 1990. Study began with the Farrar's "The Church and School of Wicca." My most recent formal training was based on Raymond Buckland's "Complete Book of Witchcraft, " and other sources and Tradition teachings. I took my High Priest vows on Samhain 2004.
I am also a hereditary witch through my mother's side. Instinctively, I've always been a witch, though raised Jehovah's Witness : ( My mother taught me the things her great aunt taught her -- my mother used the term "witch" -- since my early years. My beliefs have always been in synch with Witchcraft, even when I didn't have a name for it.
My tradition is eclectic, taking from many pantheons (ie. Celtic, Saxon, Greek, Roman, Egyptian, etc.) I choose according to my intent and correspondences, but focus more on the Celtic.
I am in an open, long-term relationship with Gary, my fiance, who is a 3rd Degree.
Looking for friends, study partners, fellow learners, teachers, and students. Fellow gay wiccans are especially welcome to contact me. Any information about gays and Paganism/Wicca/Witchcraft is welcome.
