Recovering & Celtic pagan. Into seeing & doing anything that strikes my fancy. Recently discovering my total heritage. Appears to be not just Irish but Gaelic. Higgins (O'hUigin) of the County Sligo was my maternal great-grandmother's maiden name. She married a Mee. He changed the name to Mead. Wonder if any of my ancestors were witch's. May have been a Druid or 2 in there, maybe.
My daughter & oldest granddaughter seem to be following the path. I know my mother didn't practice. So I don't know what that was before, then. I have no way of knowing anything that my grandmother & great-grandmother did or didn't do. I can only assume certain things with my grandmothers.
My granddaughter, who will be 12 in Oct., is following behind me, for sure. She was dedicated to the Celtic path July of 2007. She is now known as Keela Mari. Her name is Kyndall. She has been following me since she was 4, asking questions, & seems to be very intuitive & sensitive to certain things. She loves crystals & wants to learn to read runes & tarot cards. It will be a fun journey with her.
My daughter has leaned towards being Pagan for several years. Since she only wears gold, I had to look for a long time for one that I could afford, as was the right size. I finally found one & it was one of her Mother's Day gifts 3 yrs. ago. Seemed appropriate since she has given me 5 beautiful grandchildren. She likes pendulums & tarot cards but with 5 children her time is limited in order to sit down & really experiment & learn to use either.
My youngest granddaughter is now 3 & her birthday is 4 days after my birthday, another Aquarian. Yay! She is already showing her witchiness.
I consider myself a warrior & want to follow more on a warrior & healing path.
