Dislikes: Apathy, capriciousness, intolerance, pretension, belligerence, stupidity, and people who act like they're really into certain things (spirituality, music, subcultures, etc.) when they actually don't know dick about it.

I'm a monist physicalist pantheist and symbolic suitheist. Translation: Although paranormal things do sometimes happen, I do not believe they are caused by anything supernatural. All things are matter/energy/space/time and the concept of a "spirit realm" is deeply flawed. I revere and am in awe of existence as a whole. Since the parts of existence that we have the most control over are ourselves, we are the closest actual things to distinct deities; all other god-forms are probably psychological creations or projections. So I revere myself and respect the autonomy of all others so long as they respect mine.
With that in mind, my practice falls into two distinct and largely separate categories: (1) Left-Hand Path with a soft spot for Kali, lesbian symbolism, and radical feminism, and (2) Germanic Heathen whose emphasis is entirely continental, ancestral, and cultural.
I'm passionate about helping those who are willing to help themselves, and about exchanging ideas and information about deep things and other assorted cool sh*t. ;) I've been an autodidact all my life, and have been described as a walking encyclopedia and (more recently) as a human Google. I'm a Psychology major, and intend to get a second B.A. in Philosophy (because it's my core interest but isn't so great for a career) . I want to do my graduate studies in Germany in a few years. I'll probably come back to the states to earn my Psy.D. and open a private therapy practice.
I'd like to meet up with some pagan groups, or at least individuals, to talk shop, chill out, and maybe to practice together (as I'm open to participating in any non-Christian tradition. Anything that doesn't prop up the oppressive status quo is cool to me.) .
Oh, and if you're into astrology: I was born on the Libra/Scorpio cusp. Everything I've read about it matches my personality to a T.
