Hi, I am hoping to meet new people to discuss and share experiences with. I have a few "quirks, " but I don't feel I belong in any of the categories I have come across so far. I wouldn't say that I don't believe in the concept of gods/goddesses, but I also wouldn't expect them to micromanage to the extent that a lot of other people think they do. It's probably best left at that for now. I've studied here and there and while I believe my theories, I realize that reality for others may be different from mine. That's a theory, too, lol...
I am disabled- I have very serious depression and anxiety. I have learned a lot about coping with "quirks" when you are "mentally ill." Some of this stuff can get you on a whole new batch of medication if you aren't careful. My body throws some curves here and there, but hey, I figure my warranty must have worn out and I am falling apart. My doc says my body is from X-Files...
I have a fantastic partner who loves in me, believes in me, and doesn't think this stuff is crazy since he sees ghosts. That and the fact that there is something unusual in our home. In addition to the usual moving things around, we have had things knocked off shelves right in front of both of us and more. My partner has actually been touched by it a few times and was able to touch it back. We even caught a few EVPs on a digital recorder... Sometimes, I think I am just destined to never get close to "normal."
I am a very good listener, even though I talk a lot. In fact, I suppose you could say that it's my "calling." Trying to figure out how to make a living at it and get off disability, but no success yet. Good thing I don't expect miracles from life.
Anyway, if I haven't scared you off, drop me a line. If I have, I'm sorry. I'm a little too much for some people, so it's my bad, not yours.
