I am a cleric for the Apostolic Johannite Church, an esoteric, Christian-esque, mystical tradition. Our local spiritual center is under the matronage of St. Eve (yes, the same infamous Eve from the Garden of Eden...just as an example of our quasi-Christian nature) . The AJC is a Gnostic organization that finds its roots in Christian mysticism, Hermeticism and the Mystery Schools of ancient Egypt and Greece. We are more Platonists than Christian and it has been said that we look Christian on the outside and Buddhist on the inside.
