Agalloch are my favourite band of all time. Of course, I like other music as well--particularly other types of metal, classical music (Romantic era, mainly) , and European folk music--and greatly enjoy discussing the subject as a whole, along with a few others. Let it be known, however, that I am deeply shy and inept at conversation, even among friends, though I may be more open to them, and cannot be expected to be the sole bearer of a conversation. I will become lost.
I have a very keen interest in foreign languages and linguistics, and hope someday to become a translator, or perhaps a tutor of English in another country (teaching a whole class would drain me horribly) . For now, however, I have set my sights on studying abroad...
At the moment I do not actively seek a kindred, but find that learning and working on my own is not easy.
