I grew up knowing I wasn't like other people as I saw spirits and my imaginary friends had very real death certificates. I also was able to see things before they happened. Unfortunately by the age of 12 I went against advice and delved into the dark arts and suffered greatly as a direct result. I used my gift for harm alienated many and hurt many, in the long run I hurt myself. I decided to stop practicing all together a while back as I also battled a long addiction with drugs and alcohol. I thought I lost my gifts and my connection. I got clean and began talking to spirits again, my sight came back and my connection to the God and Goddess are stronger than ever. I now follow the path of light with a shade of grey because I truly believe without dark there can't be light both are equally as powerful and both need to be respected. However that being said harm no one because once you throw something out it comes back. My new saying is "The world is round whatever you throw out it will circle around and hit you with everything else it picked up on the way back to you"
