World traveled, Seeker of Truth who is a spontaneous free Spirit and Lover of life looking to share equally with other Seekers of Truth who’s on a Spiritual Quest. Friends and co-works describe me thus: good listener, playful, thoughtful, open-minded, grounded, spiritual, and inquisitive. I consider myself to be easygoing, flexible, open-minded, playful, friendly, witty, intelligence, sensitive, nurturing, loving, romantic, and self-confident. Other characteristics that I find important in my life and that I look for in others: honesty, trustworthiness, loyalty, responsibility (all necessary in my field of work) ; compassion, kindness, respect for all things, (what the world needs more of IMHO) ; playfulness, sense of awe or wonder at the miracle of everyday life that we tend to take for granted, and are open to what existence gives us each day, last but not least a sense of humor (especially the ability to laugh at oneself) . I prefer to work problems through for a solution. I have a strong sense of duty and integrity. I take full responsibility for my actions. I truly believe, that each individual is responsible for 99.9% of all that happens to them. I’ve learned how to enjoy the good times and find meaning and peace in the challenging times. I would like to find someone to share my life with, someone willing to share what they have learned and be open to what I have learn on this Spiritual Quest. What I am looking for in a woman would be someone who has some of the characteristic that I listed above. Someone who shares some of my interests, and most importantly, have interests of her own which she would like to share with me.
My interests are photography (see web site for examples) , Celtic music/history, Renaissance Fairs, Genealogy. Trying to learn how to sew. Day trips. Reading I can spend hours in a book store. Harry Potter, Terry Goodkind, Robert Jordan are a few of my favorite authors. Movies, all kinds.
Self-educated Renaissance man, having read some of the works of modern and ancient writers on subjects ranging from Archeology to Zen Mysticism. Former sailor, soldier, police officer and am currently a philosopher, mystic, Witch, Wizard and Shaman in training. Always a student of life and sometimes a teacher.
