The Day is Beautiful.
You may call me Melody BlueMoon, though that is nowhere near the name my parents gave me, but it is the one I wish to be known by in this community.
I also call myself Dana SilentRiver, which is much closer to my birth name than I'd care to admit.
I have been involved with Pagan Paths such as Wicca since around the age of 12-13, and while I found that Wicca was a beautiful Path, it simply wasn't the Path for me.
I am a Solitary Practitioner of a Path that I've developed on my own.
I Walk My Own Path. (The Path being my personal beliefs, some are which are borrowed from other religions, but are mostly mine.)
My own personal pantheon consists of 3 main gods, Mother, Lady, and Uncle.
I graduated from a Rapid City Area high school.
I am currently attending the Univeristy of South Dakota, in Vermillion to become a History teacher, with a minor in theatre and/or religious studies.
I'm a writer. Mainly short stories, though I do dabble in poetry and am sort of working on a book.
I have two cats and a dog, though the dog is more of a family pet.
The cats are my babies, the dog is my annoying little brother.
One of my favorite pasttimes is working on a language for one of my stories. I figure even if the story doensn't work out, I'll continue with the language.
