I am a 21 year navy veteran. I was an electrican on nuclear power plants. Now I do tax prep and bookkeeping.
I retired from the Navy in '05 and moved back to my home state of TN. After 22 years away alot has changed and being a civilian again is a HUGE ajustment, but I love being back in the mountains.
I have be all over the world (15 countries) and tried to study & experience something of all the cultures I have visited. I am always looking to learn more about most anything but mainly focus on history, religon, and culture.
I am voracious reader of most anything and everything, 1-2 books a week most of the year.. Over the years my personal library has taken over my house and storage unit.
Love to be outside and feel the sun and wind on my skin. I never wear a shirt unless I have to then it's usually tye-dye.
Now that I have more time I would like to get back into camping and hiking. I love the feel of the wind, rain and sun on my bare skin and try to get outside as much as possible year round. It helps that I really don't get cold very easy.
Any penpals would be very welcome and if you are local, a close friend is sometimes needed by anyone. Looking forward to hearing from anyone looking to write/meet.
