Raised in a traditional Celtic pagani environment, living the life our deities have set upon me. Have trod many paths from soldier to healer, student to teacher. All paths were chosen by faith, stumbles and all.
Looking to experience perspectives of other traditions as a merlin, student of all while firmly comfortable in my birth faith. I chose to remain on the outside after watching American covens tear people apart in power struggles.
Do not misjudge me by my visage, a calm face covers many years of experience and red face is often health related not anger. I have reached Elder status in my home Celtic circle and 3rd Degree in both major Wicca traditions and a lesser though popular tradition.

Pagan Clergy or Chaplains for Hospitals, Prisons, FEMA, etc.
Pagans of all sorts are generally disregarding as clergy by the majority, though very often they resort to ordination through ULC or other internet/long-distance entities for some legitimization. Not all states recognize these non-seminary ordinations or any sort of clerical initiation outside of Abrahamic religions for legal matters. However, you can still serve your wider community as a spiritual leader! This class will be a discussion on establishing chaplain recognition at various institutions like hospitals and prisons, with law enforcement agencies and FEMA. Handouts with relevant information will be offered. Contributions from attendees regarding their successful accomplishments in this area are greatly encouraged. Rev. Lord Arteo has been providing volunteer pagan chaplain services for St Mary's Hospitals, UT-Knoxville Hospital, various VA Medical Centers, and law enforcement, for 12 years and has been a paid chaplain with Homeland Security for 5 years. Celtic Circle Church of UK and US is his recognized fellowship.
