Likes: Hiking, walking, listening, and relaxing. The time I feel the most connected with Deity are those stormy nights, foggy dew gilded mornings, the raging heat of a summer afternoon, and the bitter twilight of winters kiss.
Dislikes: Many aspects of myself that are rooted within my past. I have yet to overcome, or forgive myself, to be able to release them. I have distaste for stupidity. Not to be confused with ignorance, that can be remedied.
Revan's Profile...
I have been a believer for years. I say believer simply due to my past when I first encountered the Old Ways I was still in my parents care. They are both of the conservative faith, and did not take to kindly to the belief system that I had finally found a connection with, so I was only able to study. My participation was limited. Over the years I have journeyed down many avenues, I had spent a year and a half living on the street. Quite an experience I will say. Even within my adult life a fraction of the dedication remained, dutifully practicing exercises and on occasion casually observing sabbats and esbats. Although at this point I have decided that now is the time to set out on another journey, and I am interested in finding like minded practitioners within the area. I have a dream that I would love to have fulfilled. Requiring dedication, patience, knowledge, and the reward; a sanctuary for our kin, regardless of traditions, deity preference, a place where we may walk or lay, garden or pray. Hold rituals and classes, in a space consecrated, dedicated, to the propagation of our pagan faith.
I am open to all traditions, my own ideology is a patchwork of wicca, druidry, bardry, and a philosophy of our most basic roots...
