I first came upon Wicca while browsing the web November 11, 2007. I've been studying on and off ever since.
I don't really consider myself a true Wiccan yet. I'm not interested in witchcraft, at least not at the moment. I feel like I need a better understanding of the divine before I can truly appreciate the craft and work within that realm.
I was an Atheist for about seven years before I turned Pagan. I've always found a strange magnetic attraction for Paganism, Wicca in particular. It took me years to come to the decision that I want to follow this path.
I'm still learning what it means to be Wiccan. I am confident that I have a decent beginning knowledge of Wicca, but when it comes to the idea of spirituality I have trouble forming a connection. Being an Atheist for so long cut me off of that part of my life and it has been difficult to get my mind ready for a concept of faith – but I feel ready.
I'm no longer complacent with only learning, I want to feel something. A connection, anything.
