My name is Holly Star Strider Feray.
I am presently from Spring, Texas.

ABOUT WHO I AM AND WHERE I CAME FROM:
I am a was born in the Chinese year of the Iron Boar. old female of French Hungarian ancestry.
I was born in the state of New York in the boonies.
I moved five times before the age of four.
I have been life handfasted to Patrick since 1999; after dating for two years and an additional year and a day handfasting period. He is a very talented editor and writer in both the professional documentation and fantasy writing arenas.
I am in a polyamourous relationship.
I was in an extended relationship with CJ from 1996 to 2011. CJ is a very talented published writer.
A BIT MORE ABOUT ME:
I am a Druid and a licensed minister.
I am going on 20 years as a licensed minister
I have been on a pagan path since I was 14.
I have been on the Druid path since 1993.
I have always wanted to be a minister ever since I was 8.
PAST PAGAN SERVICE:
I co-lead a grove for just over a year.
I have had more than a dozen pagan articles published in The Accord.
I co hosted the Pagan Afternoon Tea for about 7 years in League City.
I hosted the Teen Spirit Social and I created it.
I used to host Pagan MeetUp.
I created and ran a now dead discussion group for a year, nicknamed P.iD.G.ON.
I solely represented the pagan community to the Southern Interfaith Literacy Conference; an event trying to get churches involved in promoting and volunteering for literacy education in their local communities in 2001.
I was invited to guest lecture on Druidism to the Bay Area U.U. Church, the presentation was well received.
I held the office of Outlands Representative for Council of Magickal Arts for a year.
I was a Guardian for CMA for 12 events until I left CMA. I was also made Senior Guardian during that time.
I have been a festival vendor for numerous pagan events. Representing numerous vendors
I have presented six workshops for Festival events ranging from Herb Magick to Sacred Sexuality.
-I own and ran a successful pagan magazine, The World Tree Journal for two years. (It served the community well and
received accolades. It gained International distribution thanks to Military Personnel!)
- I hosted the North Houston Pagan Afternoon Tea the 4th Sunday of May 2005. It ran for more than a year and was incredibly popular.
-I hosted the Witch's MeetUp for Houston since March of 2002 - 2009 and have been the Coordinator since the position was created. We were just over 1000 members strong when I turned over The Greater Houston Metropolitan Witch's Meetup to an another Organizer, as I was posting and manning 50+ events monthly by my self and needed a break.
In mid 2011 I offered Karen Cooper (the person who was the Organizer at the time & friend) to return as the Organizer of the now Houston Pagan Meetup. In February 2012 Karen offered for me to resume my post as Organizer. In March I said yes and at the end of March 2012 Karen handed the Houston Pagan meetup back to my care after 2 Organizers. I now have 11 people assisting me running the Houston Pagan Meetup.
-I posted the suggestion for the Druid MeetUp and am in the process of getting that off the ground. I ran the first Druid Meetup for a year and then stopped. No one took over. It went away. A new Druid Meetup has arisen! Yea!
-I teach the path work of personal growth and had four students.
-I am presently a Teacher who was taught by a Lakota Shaman and Elder to improve my spiritual teaching skills as well as doing personal growth work. He has since passed in January 2009. His name is Monty Galloway. I am still guided by him.
- I was introduced to Tribe by Jeanette Waldie in 1998. She was the lead host for the Pagan Afternoon Tea in League City. I began learning separate from Tribe with Monty Galloway in 2000. In 2007 Monty asked me to join Tribe to further my growth. I did so. I had students when I became a child of Tribe. Just prior to Monty's death I received my adult name in the Tribe. Coyote Song and I were the last students to receive our adult names while Monty was around.
-I have taught and teach multiple religious and or energy working classes that have been very well received.
EVEN MORE ABOUT ME, PRESENT TIME:
I hold a B.S. in Psychology
I will complete my Reiki training I am Reiki level one.
I am an entrepreneur.
I am an adult in Tribe, My name is Star Strider.
I completed a year of National Service with Americorps in 2001 and received a scholarship. My service was teaching literacy and math to parolees in Houston.
I love music of all kinds.
I love camping.
I love trees.
I love swimming.
I love swimming in the ocean.
I love the night.
I love being a woman.
I love to write or rather I should say the Muse possesses me to put words on the page.
I love to dance a lot!
I really enjoy reading.
I have traveled quiet a bit and really enjoy doing so. I have been
to 17 countries so far.
I used to take jujitsu classes and enjoyed them a lot.
I also like gaming occasionally. I am into board gaming and table top role playing.
I have been into herbology for about 19 years.
I have enjoyed, but do not presently participate in S.C.U.B.A. and
horseback riding.
