I started to say "I've been working as a witch since ..." but really, that doesn't make any sense. Truth is, I've *always* been a witch, and I bet you're nodding your head because it's the same for you.
My first glimpse into organized pagan religion was the myths of Rome, Greece and Wales that my father told me throughout my childhood. My first look at witchcraft as a religion was Paul Huson's _Mastering Witchcraft_. It informed my early steps, and continues to be a strong influence these many years later.
My group practice is Gardnerian, which I adore. It's a delight to work with like-minded folks, and to develop close relationships with our gods. I'm a witch outside that praxis, as well. I work to grow and nurture ties with the spirits of place, particularly where I live. And I work with and learn from the Beloved Dead.
I believe a rich craft life is full of a variety of relationships. With the quick and the dead. With the seen and the unseen. No matter your path, if you're honestly and sincerely working your craft, I salute you, and hope you'll email to say hello!
