I have a small farm in central TX. It was vacant for almost 20 years and I've been cleaning it up and trying to get it back into operation.
We're a fairly eclectic group out here.
First of all, there is the core family (Myself, the wife, the babies) ; then there is the farmhand; then the househand/babysitter; then a retired guy.
It is a medium sized farm (50 acres) and it has a 2 acre pond in addition to what I call the 'long lake'.
We're raising goats, cows, donkeys and chickens. We plan on Pecan trees and apple trees, bees, and some other stuff too.
If you're interested in joining our little 'family' - or getting out of the rat race, dropping off the grid, or whatever, feel free to contact us. Male, female, poly or not, we're willing to discuss and see if you have a place here. Life is easier and the cost of living is extremely low.
We're not without the conveniences - water, power, cell service, and hi-speed WiFi! We even have washing machines and dryers....
In particular, we really need someone that knows accounting and is a homebody and loves kids!
